Ultralong temporal coherence in optically trapped exciton-polariton condensates

چکیده

We investigate an optically trapped exciton-polariton condensate and observe temporal coherence beyond 1~ns duration. Due to the reduction of spatial overlap with thermal reservoir excitons, time is more than order magnitude longer that untrapped condensate. This ultralong enables high precision spectroscopy condensate, we periodic beats field correlation function due a fine energy splitting two polarization modes Our results are important for realizing polariton simulators spinor condensates in lattice potentials.
